Upon the chance meeting of Rick English and myself, we both knew it to be martial arts destiny. We met in Hawaii and after a few "get togethers" (read...beating the snot out of each other), we found that indeed there were many similarities in our thoughts on combatives, on flow and movement! We put our heads together and now can't get into a standard room door! Seriously, we knew what we had, what we could in fact teach and relay to others was a pretty good synthesis of all our combined years of training.
Rick is one of the smoothest practitioners I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and we have always loved teaching "street tactics" to those actually needing martial arts for real world situations. Plain and simple, no fluff nor fancy window dressing, we love to teach and we love to share what we have learned being in the military and working these arts with so many wonderful instructors and students throughout the years. It is because of our varied backgrounds our school is named an "academy" versus dojo or school. Come train with us and you'll understand!
Please peruse the sight and feel free to email us any questions, or any constructive criticisms you may have.
